The COVID-19 pandemic is a global event, but we feel its impact locally as the virus reshapes our daily lives. This includes those of us connected to the College of Coastal Georgia. Campus closure and the threat of the virus have required us all to adapt to new ways of working, learning, and living. However, even as we each make our way through this moment with our own concerns about the present and the future, we should also consider an important question: How will we remember all of this?

The Coastal Georgia COVID-19 Pandemic Archives project will help answer that question. The Archives serves as a digital repository to record our stories and share with others how the pandemic impacted the College of Coastal Georgia and our community. The Archives will collect and preserve these experiences, making them available for informational purposes and to use in future research.

Visitors are encouraged not only to browse the collection, but to share their own experiences during the pandemic. The Archives accepts written accounts, audio and video recordings, photographs and images, and weblinks related to the pandemic and its impact on the College of Coastal Georgia community. Your submissions can include reflections of your experiences during the pandemic, recordings and images of your life during this time, or materials documenting the events related to the College of Coastal Georgia and the surrouding area during this period.

Students, staff, faculty, alumni, former faculty or staff, or those with a relationship with the College of Coastal Georgia, are all welcome to submit materials to the Coastal Georgia COVID-19 Pandemic Archives. Before submitting, please visit this site's Submission Tips and Guidelines section, where you will find information on the submission process and a list of potential questions to address when providing personal accounts.

Before submitting a story or materials to the Archives, please also read the Donor's Agreement located in the About section of the website.
